Maggie aka Mona

Just wanted to let you know all is going well. Maggie (Mona) and Sam are doing great together and are learning the rules of the house quickly. (no rough play inside , dogs stay on the floor and everyone sleeps in their own bed at night). She still tries every once in awhile to jump up on the couch, but is getting better every day. Does great in her crate and is slowly getting to know the cats. She has an appt to get her stitches out tomorrow. So thanks again for helping us find her. She is the perfect match for Sam and our family.

Gulliver aka Sport

Hi Karen!

I wanted to give you an update on Gulliver (aka "Sport"). He is doing so well! He is doing amazing with the other dogs at the dog park, is really building up his running stamina (we do about 6 miles on Saturdays), and is all around very popular. He is super sweet, great with everybody he meets, and is starting to become protective of the apartment at night. I have started a blog with pictures of him so I'll share the website with you! I have to admit...it is a bit cheesy, since I'm writing it in his voice, but it's pretty cute.

Hope you're doing well!

Thanks,

Gulliver!

I adopted Gulliver (then called "Sport") back in November 2011. I can't believe it has already been 6 months! He has turned out to be an absolutely wonderful dog, and I could not be happier. He likes to go jogging, on long walks, trips to the dog park (almost daily), to the beach, and he especially likes to nap! Incredibly friendly, good with everybody he meets, and super mellow for his age! I cannot thank Magnificent Mutts enough for everything you did for him and have done for us. He truly is a remarkable dog.

Gulliver, just by nature of being so adorable and friendly, has earned himself a fan base in our neighborhood! I started a blog to share pictures of him with everybody. The blog can be found at http://gulliver-adogandhisgirl.blogspot.com

I highly encourage you to check out the animals up for adoption with Magnificent Mutts!

Wesley's Happy Tail

We adopted Wesley (first named "crunch") in June of 2009. He was part of a litter that had parvo. We were terrified of his outcome but Wesley has grown up to become the healthiest, happiest dog that we have ever known. He has brought so much joy into our lives and makes us laugh every day. He even recently got a new cat brother who he loves to play with! He took to playing fetch and frisbee like a pro, and has a whole bag of tricks up his sleeve! He was so easy to train and is always so eager to please us. All of our family and friends love him too, and we are truely blessed to have such an amazing dog in our family. Thank you so much for helping him through his first weeks and for trusting us to take care of him. You have given us the best 3 years of our lives so far and we look forward to many more memories with Wes!

Gabby

Hi Linda,

Thank you for letting us adopt Gaby. We have renamed her Sophie. She is a really sweetheart ! She loves her walks and falling asleep in out laps. We took her to the vet for her check up yesterday and got her 2nd set of shots and heartworm/flee & tick meds. She's doing a good job with potty training and I think we have the sleeping under control with a hot water bottle and classical music CD. I will send photos soon.

Middy aka Trooper

Trooper is the white dog (Australian Shepherd/mix) we adopted from you over
Veterans Day weekend this past year. We're enjoying a wonderful day at the
beach. He's gotten so big! As you can see he's about as big as our golden in
height! Lol! He's a perfect match to our family. Thanks again! We'll always
be grateful for what you do!

Sincerely,

Peony

Michelle -

In case you're wondering, all is going extremely well here - even better than I'd hoped! The dogs sat quietly together in the car. Peony did throw-up, about 4 blocks from home (thanks for the blankets!). She's been fine ever since though. She and Cloudy are getting along great, hanging out close together and they have had a couple of very friendly tail-wagging wrestling matches (which she started). She is not as timid as I thought she would be. She is greeting other dogs and people on the street and following me around the apartment. She loves to be petted and she loves curling up in her new dog bed. She slept right next to me on my bed all of last night - she is very good at snuggling. She is such a sweetheart - I am totally in love with her.

I'll send you some pictures over the weekend. Too busy trying to get to work early this morning to do it properly.

Thanks for letting me have her - I adore her.
