Reggie ( formerly known as Burger)

We adopted Reggie in January. He was very timid at first, but as the weeks progressed, Reggie's true personality began to emerge. He is a very playful and smart little guy. His older brother Louie has helped him to be well mannered with other dogs, yet takes time to play in the back yard. Reggie loves to play hide and seek, fetch and learns a new trick/ command once a week. We have just completed our first obedience course, and look forward to advancing to higher levels. Reggie is loved by everyone, and loves to be cuddled by the kids, but mostly Momma. He is a wonderful addition to our family. We love Reggie very much. Thank you for rescuing this sweet pup, and allowing him to become part of our family.

Iris (formerly E-1 Adele)

Thank you Mag Mutts for allowing us to adopt Iris in June of 2012. She is by far one the best dogs we have adopted and so intelligent! She is a magnet for learning new tricks and never stops to amaze our family.. Just a few months ago we lost our older dog Delilah to a very aggressive mass cell tumor. Iris misses her buddy. She enjoyed her company. We may be back! Wish I could clone Iris, she is the best!!! Thanks again....

She is in her second class of dog training ( I mean we're in TRAINING! ) We saw her sister Fiscal 's posting on the web site, we were so excited we hope to see all the dogs from the litter , thanks to Fiscal 's mom. We hope it works out. Also thanks to magnificent mutts rescue for giving us such a nice addition to our family.

Sprocket aka Fonzy

Hi Courtney,
I've been meaning to email you for four months now! You probably don't remember, but we applied for Turbo but instead adopted his brother Fonzy (now Sprocket) on December 8th. I wanted you to know how happy Sprocket is and how much he's changed our lives. He's the apple of our eye and all we do is hurry through the day so we can get home to play with him. He's well behaved, kind, loves other dogs, people, and finding sticks. Thank you so much for the hard work you and the rest of the Magnificent Mutts team do -- you change lives for sure! Here's a picture of our big boy now

Wendi

Hi Courtenay,

I adopted Wendi on Saturday and I can't think of a more
perfect dog for me. I went from a perfect dog right into
another. She is perpetually happy and gets along fine with my
friend's golden retriever. They wore each other out yesterday.
Plus, everyone who has seen pictures can't wait to meet her. She
was actually looking out the window and waiting for me today
after I went shopping. She already is accustomed to treats when
she comes in (and she comes in right away). I took her for a
walk today to show how proud I am of her because she is so cute.
I will have tons of pictures and will submit a few of them them
to post on the web site. I can't believe how lucky I was to find
out about Magnificent Mutts and adopt a truly great dog. Thank
you very much and I hope the organization keeps up the good work
- I saw so many dogs adopted yesterday. If I could afford 2
dogs, I would have adopted Cyaa. I knew right away that she
might not be adopted since she was shy. I'll have to give that
some thought since she liked me.

Magoo and Cassie (aka Onyx)

My fiance and I adopted Magoo in January of 2012 and he was and is the most wonderful pup in the world. He is the coolest guy and his favorite spots in the house are on his momma's lap or gazing out the window at the world as it passes by.

In November of 2012 we decided we needed another addition to our family and we found Onyx who we renamed Cassie. She is such a sweet little girl who loves to be carried around the house like a baby! She excels at killing the squeaker in each and every one of her toys in less than five minutes and then hiding the "dead" toy under our bed.

They love to snuggle, take naps, and chase the bunnies and geese around the yard (which usually results in more snuggles and naps not long after!)

They have brought so much love and fur to our hearts and couches and we could not imagine our lives with out them.

Thank you Magnificent Mutts!!!

Love,

Marita, Alex, Magoo, and Cassie

Fiscal, AKA Marisa

Fiscal was one of Meadow's pups in August of last year. I was so excited to see all of the updates on her brothers and sisters!!! Fiscal is a 43-pound of pure energy. Anything and everything excites the heck out of her. She loves her big sister, Arana, they are best friends! Fiscal's favorite hangout is the nearby dog park, where she will play fetch until her paws fall off. She LOVES her tennis balls. She would love to meet any of her litter mates who might live in the city. She can be reached at carashall@gmail.com :)

Ember

Karen…
Hello! As I stated on the phone… Ember is fitting in well so far. Her and Willow seem to have hit it off and I hope that it keeps up that way :)
Right now they are playing outside with Alana… and she is just having a ball with them. Also… earlier today Ember had her first bath at our home and she did very well. Her and Willow came in this morning covered in mud. It was very interesting trying to wrangle them up strait to the bathroom to wash off the mud.

I am attaching a photo of the two last night sleeping in my daughters room on the same bed… keep in mind that there was two but they seemed to want to share.

Also… here is a photo of them after their bath sleeping on a comforter in my art room next to my space heater. I need to get some new beds for this room… but the comforter seems to be doing the job for now.

Thanks again for letting us adopting this little sweetheart. She seems like she will fit here with us forever!
