Raja
This is how our boy Raja looks today. He is on a grain free diet, has gain weight and his coat and behavior are like a pure bred Maine Coon. He likes to play with our other cats, especially Dust Bunny who's the same age as he is. He gets lots of toys and attention. He has warmed up to my wife but with me it is a steeper learning curve.
Best Regards,
Bill

Charlie AKA Tickle
Charlie is a very good boy! He loves to play with his little big sister Pearl and was the top of his class in puppy school. Charlie was pretty timid when we first met him (he was called Tickle back then) but has since come way out of his shell.

Heidi aka Honey Bunch
Heidi is doing very well. She gets along, and has bonded with, her two brothers. She loves dog school, riding in the car, and long walks around the neighborhood.

Update on Thorin aka Moby
Hi Melinda,
My fiance and I adopted Thorin (aka Moby) this past May. He is doing great :) he is definitely a cuddle bug and loves playing with his friends at daycare. We passed our Canine Manners class in November with flying colors! He is about 60 lbs and I do not think he will get much bigger. We just figured out that he is rott/rhodesian ridgeback, which explains his beautiful coloring. Thorin is definitely a goof ball and loves absolutely everyone, including the cat. We are excited to celebrate his first Christmas!

Our Family rescued Donovan on Mother's Day this year from PetCo in Hillside. He's truly made himself at home with our son and our tabby Sam!! XO
Mack
Hi Melinda
Just a quick update on Mack. Last Sunday he passed his Canine Good Citizen Test. See his graduation pic attached. He's about 70 lbs now. Not sure how much bigger he'll get. Probably not much taller. He was fixed a couple weeks ago, but hasn't really slowed him down. Lol. I plan on starting him in agility is January. Hope all is well.

My Faith
I adopted Faith (prev name Anya) in Feb. 2012. She had been a loving and cherished member of our family. I was recently given a Magnificent Mutts brochure by a friend and imagine my surprise when I saw a picture of my little Faith on the cover!. She is beautiful but it was still a surprise to see her little face on your brochure! She is still humble about the attention, but her sisters, Hope and Grace are both a bit jealous. Anyway, thank you to Magnificent Mutts and all of the wonderful work you do to unite all of us lucky humans with the loves of our lives. Faith thanks you for the honor of gracing the cover of your brochure!

Connor AKA Gus
Here is an update on Connor and his new puppy brother ;) Ryan was born September 10. From the moment he came home Connor has been by his side. Wherever Ryan naps, Connor lays watching out for his buddy. If Ryan makes any noise, Connor comes running. We are working on him getting anxious when others are holding him. If someone holds Ryan and Ryan whines or makes any noise, Connor will sometimes jump up on that person. But overall you can tell he loves his new brother. :)

Lexi
Karen,
Lexi has found her stride within our home. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and neighborhood. Lexi has several playmates on our block and has proven to be a gentle friend to our daughter.
She enjoys her Blue Advantage Bison kibble, and under your advisement also gets a daily wet food added for taste. Her coat is beautiful and healthy!
She continues to walk well on the leash and enjoys daily walks with our family. She guards her yard well as we never see rabbits or squirrels. She likes going for rides with us in our truck and has learned to listen well when we call for her or ask her to sit.
I hope you enjoy the photos that are attached!
Thank you for caring for her in your home and accepting us as the adoptive family. We just love her!
Sincerely,
The Qadirs

Nina
Thank you for rescuing Nina! I brought her home 2 years ago today. Time flies and yet I have a hard time remembering what life was like before her. She is absolutely the best dog! Thank you for all you do. You are making a difference in both the dog's life and in the lives of the people who adopt.

Jordon
Hi Michelle! I hope all is going well. I just wanted to drop you a quick
note to let you know how Jordan is doing (Cruzan)!
He is a joy. When we brought him home at 8 weeks old, he weighed 6.2 lbs
and was very little. In the past 8 weeks, he has more than doubled; maybe
tripled his size and weighs 32 pounds!! Our vet cannot believe how big he
has gotten let alone the weight gain. He has had all of his shots and the
only remaining medical item is to get him neutered at the end of October.
He was potty trained and house broken in the first four weeks! He is very
smart. He has learned all the basic commands - sit, speak, stay, come
here, No, Be nice (to cat), sit up, Eat, walks on the lease, etc. He has
also learned his boundaries in the yard and does very well......except on
the south side of the property! He likes to sneak over and visit the
neighbors!! Still in training. He is teething right now so it's a bit
difficult for him but we are giving him lots of dental type bones and toys
to chew on. He has a best friend - Dexter - our neighbor's dog across the
street. They bring him over 2-3 times a week to play. It's wonderful!
I know I was originally going to adopt Lonnie. You had shared that he
found a good home and I'm grateful. Jordan is doing very well, is healthy
and seems to be really happy. We do not cage him at all, just spend all of
our time training and reinforcing good behavior. He sleeps in our bed at
night and is quite content! I work out of my home so he spends a good
portion of his day in my office (napping).
Thank you for all you do for these animals. I know it isn't easy and I
hope you know - people like me - admired and appreciate everything you do.
Jordan has found a good home. He has more to learn but is trying very hard
to fill that void in my heart after losing my collie. I think we have a
good match here and I just wanted to update you and say "thank you." Take
care.

It's Tank!
We adopted Hank (now Tank) at the beginning of August. Tank is AWESOME. He is a more mature guy, but fits into our home perfectly. He gets along with our crazy shepherd, and our mean little dog even likes him. Tank is happy all the time, and loves to ride in the car! He sits just like a person. I have attached a pic of Tank with his main man enjoying an outing to the drive-in movie. Tank goes everywhere that is pet friendly!

Teddy and Sadie aka Flash and Sally
Five years ago, we rescued our dogs, Teddy & Sadie (formally Flash & Sally). They have never been separated (they were rescued together too, found in Kentucky as puppies) & have blessed our lives!

Grandma
This is "Grandma" or "G-Mommy".
She was a puppy mill Mom and lived in a cage for 9 years. She had to have 1/2 of her jaw removed and this picture is of her 1st summer of freedom! She is an angel.
I am thankful for "Magnificent Magnificent Mutts Rescue for saving her.

Milo aka Domino
Hi Terri,
I have been intending to send you a current picture of our dog which you foster cared for in 2011. He was named Domino as a puppy and we renamed him Milo. I just want to let you know that he is a terrific dog! He is very smart and was easy to train. Milo is about 2 1/2 yrs old now and very playful. I take him to a dog park on weekend mornings and he gets along with every dog in the park. We discovered about a month after we adopted him that his mother, Daisy, was adopted to a family about 8 blocks away from us. Their first meeting was very touching and they definitely knew each other. We ran into them a couple of months later and Milo was at that crazy chewing on everything and everybody stage. His mother Daisy clearly had settled into her new comfortable lifestyle and did not want to be bothered by this crazy puppy.
I am attaching a couple of recent photos of Milo. He like likes to relax on the stairs where he can be in the middle of the action upstairs or downstairs. Although you can't tell from the photo he can look through the railing where there is a mirror on the wall so he also watches himself. The second photo is Milo on vacation with us in Colorado. He loved the trails and woods.
We are very grateful to you and Magnificent Mutts for giving us such a loving dog.
Sincerely,
Dan and Sue Niccolai
