We just took some (more) photos of Daisy and thought we'd pass them along. She's doing very well and we finally have her at her target weight of 55 lbs! I think between her hips feeling good, being lighter and greater confidence her rabbit and squirrel chasing career is flourishing. We always joke that she walks around the house feeling "satisfied". She continues to make progress and be ... happier. The only issues we still have are riding in the car (material comes out one end or the other or both) and separation anxiety when we're not at home. We took her on a visit out of town and she did not not like it when one of us left the house. My father in law pulled me out of the shower to deal with Daisy when Steph and her mom ran an errand. She's been VERY adaptable to the newcomers to our house. When we got her we had two very old cats and they all got along very well. Since then, we have sadly lost them and added two more cats and they all get along very well. Actua
lly, the big, male cat kind of rules the roost and is a bit if a bully, but Daisy holds her own quite nicely.
Enjoy the newer pictures of Daisy and the whole gang - and please ignore the cruddy area of the lawn she apparently loves to lay in. :)
P.S. - Do you know what ever happened to Tahoe (the running canine fire-hose), the male puppy you had when we were introduced to Daisy?
Regards,
John & Steph Loda
