After our German Shepherd Dog was getting too aggressive and bit a couple people, we surrendered him over to the Animal Control Center in Rockford. It broke our hearts and there were many tears from us. We still miss him and he was a SUPER dog to our family. But the house was empty and did not feel like a home without a dog.
Our new Chocolate Lab mix (Shorthaired pointer? Golden Retriever?) is super sweet. Godvia has taken to our home perfectly and even enjoys the two cats. She LOVES our two boys, 7 and 4 and has followed them around the house since our arrival home. She is a welcomed and already loved member of the family.
I believe we adopted Godiva's brother!! We adopted from Magnificient Mutts also in early July. Chip, our dog,, looks very much like Godiva. He's about 10months old now & a wonderful pup! Was she one of a litter of 3? We are also trying to figure out exactly what breed our Chip is. I will try to post a picture of him.
ReplyDeleteI was able to upload some pictures of Chip. His pictures are in December 2011 file of this blogspot. As you will see, the resemblance is uncanny! :) We have submitted a doggy DNA test this past week and should hear back in a few weeks about exactly what breeds make Chip so darn cute.
