Finley!

Just wanted to give an update on Finley.
Our 7 year old German Shepherd died suddenly in October & we were devastated. When we were ready for another dog, we knew we wanted another Shepherd, but were having such a hard time finding one that would be compatible w/ our 3 young kids & cat. We had just about given up & just for the heck of it, we went into Petco in Hillside and there was little Finley, sleeping so peacefully,( boy he had us fooled)! My husband knew right there, he was meant to be ours!
When we adopted him in December, he was 37lbs, today he is75lbs!! It took him a bit to get used to our 3 young girls, but now he loves them to death & vice versa. He is everywhere we are, literally!! We can't leave the room without him following us.
He loves playing catch w/ his ball & chewing cow hooves (ewww!)! And chewing on a random barbie doll or kids toy. And of course, chasing the cat.
My girls love "training" him w/ treats & as long as the treats keep coming, he does everything they tell him to do. He graduated from Pet Smart obedience, and next month he will start obedience classes at the Lincolnwood Kennel Club.
He LOVES playing w/ Sully (formerly known as Tater) who lives across the street from us. They are best buddies!
We love him to pieces. Thank you Magnificent Mutts for letting us rescue Finley.

Tinkerbell "Autumn"

Hi Angie,

My daughter sent you the picture of Autumn earlier. I wanted you to get the photo of Autumn before she got any bigger. I've named her Tinkerbell "Autumn" Cunningham. She is such a sweetheart and the perfect cat. She is so gentle, eats well, sleeps well and is not at all a scaredy cat as well as being totally friendly and affectionate. She got her first physical last week. I'm so happy to have Autumn as my pet. Cute, cute cute.

Thank you for all the good care you gave her. I will send you pictures from time to time to show you her growth. This picture was taken today, March 26th. You are also welcome to come and visit her, of course.

Sincerely,

Lynne

Faith aka Anya

This is Faith Noel (you knew her as Anya) adopted Feb 18th. Her big sister, Hope,
has grown to love her - they cuddle and Hope grooms Faith every day.
Faith has a lot of energy. She had a cold when I adopted her, but has
recovered just fine. She will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. Just thought
you would like to see how she is doing.
Thanks again, Lynn Spehn

Bear and Moose

Hi Michelle!

We are very happy with our boys they are so damn cute and so much fun. I've attached a few pics we love exploring the forest preserves on the weekends. We have taken so many pictures and we just feel lucky to have adopted these two beautiful dogs. I mean look at them they are gorgeous!! We are going to call the trainer info you sent just been busy with tax season etc so after 4/15 will enroll them both in another obedience type of class.

We all (Bear & Moose included) think you are an amazing person with the work that you do to save animals with Mag Mutts. I can't even imagine anyone not wanting these two dogs so we feel so blessed to be lucky enough to adopt them. So thank you..thank you...thank you for completing our family.
See ya soon!
