Happy Tail

Our Beautiful German Shepherd Mix died a few months ago, it was very sad for all of us she was almost 13 and it was very sudden... We missed her very much and our 10 month old Beagle mix Basil was very sad and lonely for a friend. We went to petfinder.com looking for a new little friend for Basil and new family member for us. There we found a couple of puppies we were interested in. We filled out an On-line application and went to meet the puppies at the Elmhurst Petco Adoption Event. There we saw Po, Dune and Durham. Durham (now Ellie because my almost 3yr old daughter wanted to name her Elephant and Ellie is Short for Elephant :) ) Anyway Ellie was being very shy and timid while Basil was Happily Playing with her brother Dune and another pup named Po... when all of a sudden Ellie pranced right up to me while I was sitting indian style on the floor and plopped down right in my lap and gave me a kiss. Right then we knew she picked us as her family and was ours. Our whole family just
loves Ellie and Basil won't leave her side. She is a super sweet little girl and a wonderful addition to our family. Everyone at the Adoption Event was very nice and Michelle and Ellie's foster mommy Kathy were very helpful and wonderful. Thank you so much for rescuing our little baby! Without yours and other organizations like yours so many fur babies would be lost.
