Nora's Mythbusters

Ya know the show where they do all those experiments with explosives and urban myths?
(i.e.,http://mythbustersresults.com/special10 )

Well, here is our version of "MythBusters: The Nora Story"....

Myth: "Nora won't 'go' on the grass"
Results: Busted!
Because: She has only gone on the grass out our house.
Findings: When we let her out first thing in the morning into our fenced in yard she just walks to the gate door and stares, waiting for us to walk her. Then after she walks a bit, she'll pull onto the grass and do her business.

Myth: "Nora Is A Snuggle Bunny"
Results: Proved!
Because: Some dogs are "chow hounds" but Nora is an "affection hound".
Findings: She approaches us for lovin' like other dogs get excited to play!

Myth: "Nora is a party animal"
Results: Busted!
Findings: By 8pm she is napping and when I go to take her out for her final walk/toileting around 9:30pm I literally have had to stand her up on her feet to put her lease on to press the point that "yes, we do need to do this now." Yet,as soon as she is outside she is ready to WALK!

Myth: "Shelter dogs aren't good at the vet"
Results: Busted!
Because: She was a model patient, this morning. Took the rabies shot, nails trimming, cyst emptying (on back, it was "nothing to worry about") like a champ!
Findings: She wants to socialize with the "office cats" (literally, felines that hang out there) and every dog that walked in, by barking encouragingly to them. But, alas, the cats paid her no attention...

Have a great day!
